i do alot of the same type of hunting...and them 760s and 7600s are probably one of the best rifles for it...just because they are light...handle great...and god forbid some of the guys might need a second shot...its there and back on target in a flash....i love them things...they are called "PA maching guns" if you didnt know...it used to be worse before ARs..but before then you should heard the woods opening morning.....guys dump whole mags and never scratch the deer!...they guys in my group that carry them usually only need a single shot...but tooo many guys spray and pray with them guns but ive fired one...it was quite accurate..iwas surprised...and felt nice and would carry very well....perfect for drives/dogs and still hunting/walking around...leave that open sighted or a low mag scope on it and it would make a fine rifle......i dont know about selling a tikka for it! lol...but..it would probably be a better choice for your hunting...and you probably wont touch the tikka much...its your call in the end....

Leave that little Tikka at home and step up to the plate with a real machine gun. Nothing wrong with some strafing shots when hunting
