Patternmaster

Are the Patternmaster chokes any good? Anyone here have one or used one?
Likes, dislikes? Any information on it would be appreciated. Considering getting one.

RE: Patternmaster

sdm,
I have tried the patternmaster "superchoke" in my 870 and wasn't impressed with the results. I tried numerous different shotshell sizes and a few different brand names, and still I was not impressed. I was mainly getting it for buckshot but was hoping it would pattern other sizes better (ex. turkey and 8,9). It was a slightly tighter pattern than my factory modified choke, and that was it. The best thing about patternmaster is the warrenty they give you. If you aren't happy with it they will refund your money, less S&H. I returned mine after 3 weeks of testing on paper. This choke may work better in your gun than it did mine. Good luck.
