Whats your favorite gun?
 

If you had to choose between all the guns you own as your favorite piece, which one would it be, and why?

Since this is such a tough question, I'm going to have to wait a bit to see some other answers before I come up with something.

Could be sentimental reasons, accuracy, beauty, ruggedness, dependability, etc. So lets hear it!

And if you have a picture of your favorite gun, make sure to post it up when you give your reasons why its your favorite!

My favorite is a Winchester 63... just like the one grandad used to have hanging on the porch wall.
The one I shoot most often is a Ruger No.1V in 22-250 with Leupold 12X scope

How can you ask a question like that???[:@]Thats a next to impossible question. It varies but I would say the 6.5x55 Mauser is at or near the top of my list. followed closely by the 45 ACP Ruger and the Taurus Model 65 357 Mag. I hate to think of how many that leaves out.:DThe old Mauser always hits the target and never hurts the shoulder. What not to love. Also, the critters die very fast.

Mossberg 500 combo. Covered in no-mar tape, dirty as hell.it gets the most use out of all of my guns, as we're a shotgun deer only state. add to that waterfowl, and turkey, it sees a lot of use. Course, that may change next year, I just got a great price on a new 835.

Remington Mohawk 600 in .308 winchester topped with a Tasco 4-16x40 world class plus scope(made in JAPAN) with the trjectory dials. This rifle is extremely accurate. I have many long range shots on deer with this rifle. Had people beg for it but it wont leave my hands.

I had a couple of those Remingtons as well. They were neat little rifles. I remember when we bought them new for 90.00. Those were the days.

My favourite is my pops old Shotgun followed by the Remington model 7

I agree with JamesB the 6.5X55 mauser I how have 5 of them and would like more.

I like the Remington 870. It's the most rugged, "drop it in the dirt, drag it through a muddy swamp, pick it up and keep hunting" type of firearm. [8D]

Second is the legendary, timeless classic, 30-30 lever action rifle. I have Marlin 30-30 and love it. There is just something about it... It just feels right and is so lightweight and easy to carry in the thick woods. [8D]

I hate these kinds of choices. My favorite shotgunis my Benelli M1 Super 90. My favorite rifleis my Blaser Offoad 300WSM topped with a Zeiss Diavari 3-12x56mm. My favorite muzzleloader is my Knight Disc 50 cal topped with a Zeiss Conquest 4-14x44mm. My favorite handgun is my 1969 model S&W M38 "bodyguard".

308 BLR with 1.5x6 simmons and 150 gr nosler partitions. I could hunt every big game animal in NA with this combo out to 250 yds...and I personally don't have any business shooting beyond that.

After much consideration I had to pick 2 firearms. My favorite rifle is my Browning A-Bolt 7mm Rem Mag, because it hits where I want at any distance at any time ;)My favorite shotgun would be my Benelli M1 Super 90 because it fits me like a glove, its almost like its the 3rd arm I was born without.

My Savage99 in .300 sav. is probably my favorite right now. If all I ever hunted from now onwas moose, elk, white-tail, mule deer,black bear and pronghorn it would do me OK.

That's tough. I really like my Sakos and pre '64 model 70. But there's probably only one gun I'd absolutely not part with and that's the Model 1891 7.65mm Mauser that was owned by my grandfather. I don't use it much, but it has a lot of sentimental value to me just because it's what he used.

Well, I usually don't grow too attached to my guns. I trade them too often. I've owned several guns over the years that most folks would never part with. I sold a cooper 22-250 that had shot several sub .1 Moa groups, yeah thats a .0 group folks/one holer however you want to say it. I had a friend ask me why I would sell a rifle that was so accurate. I told him that my fun was over. I like tinkering with them, making them shoot tiny groups, once that is accomplish I'm ready to move on. Its a personality quark I guess. That being said, there is only a few weapons that I would never trade or sell, I guess that would make them my favorites: My grandpa's A-5 Belgium Browning 16 gauge (for sentimental reason), My Browning A-bolt 280 rem (its like an old shirt, it just fits), and my Rem. 700 BDL 338 win (Its been to the mountain top and back too many times for me to part with it.)

Because of being color blind I might be the worst tracker in the world. When rifle hunting any big game I use my rem. 700 300 ultra mag. When hunting with a handgun I use S&W 460. When you track as bad as I do you need something that will drop em quick!

My favorite was my T/C Encore with my Virgin Valley Custom .338 Ultra mag barrel. I also had Steve Stratton do a 2.5# trigger on it and I fitted it with a Belm Oversized hinge pin. Topped it off with a Burris 4.5-14 and a set of Lone Wolf Kevlars. Any load I loaded for it shot atleast 1.000" groups and a few with a Nosler AccuBond shot .750". Not bad for a .338 bore. I could now kick myself for selling it. Im getting another and also having Match Grade Machine make me a 6.5-.284 barrel for it. Anyone else like Encore rifles?

out of all my guns....which is only 5, i would have to say my AR-15
coming up a close second is my Moss. 835
