Used a Cheap can of Rusty Duck action cleaner and really stained the stock of a new Rem. model Seven SS in .308. Never Had a problem withBirchwood.Got the gun for the boy and even had a muzzle brake put on.He shoots it just fine with the 125gr. reduced recoilRems, it just that itlooks like bleach was splashedall over the poor thing. Are there any Solutions??

RE: Stained Synthetic stock

I am not familiar with your specific firearm, but when we take our M16's to the armory and they get dropped in the solvent tank, the stocks come out really grey/white stained (kinda like a bleach stain i guess). What I have found that works to get the original color back is to put CLP on a toothbrush and scrub it into the stock, untill your color returns. Then wipe it down real good. We only have CLP at the armory, so Im not sure if another lube would work the same way. I hope this helps.
