RE: 10 gauge recoil?

JC, I may have shot a few thousand 10 gauge rounds but I could never be sucked into shooting one of those! A friend of mine has one of those camoed short suckers and there's no freaking way I'm going to shoot it!
U Da Man!........Must be funny to watch your buddys shoot that thing. BTW hows the xbow?

I’ve hunted with a 10 ga. single shot and would have to say it kicks but not when I shooting at birds. Can’t feel a thing...

Its an H&R isn't it? Nice gun to carry, feels really nice and tempting to shoot.

I have the 10 guage browning gold, because its auto and its heavy it doesn't kick all that bad. In fact many 12 gauge guns give a lot more shove then that 10.

I lusted for one in the camoed 24' bbl version, couldn't buy one for love or money. Ended up getting a superblack eagle to sit beside my sp10. It is supposed to be more reliable than the sp10, whats your exerience with the gold? I've only had on jam in my sp10 but then again I clean it after every use.

I can shoot a 10 gauge all day but my 454 Casull makes me act like Micheal Jackson on a dance floor.

I am not a Micheal Jackson fan, but Micheal Jackson patterning some 3 1/2 inch 12 guageturkey loads would make forsome pretty good reality TV.

Well let me put it this way. It could be colder that a well diggers butt sitting in a goose field. The gun hasn't been cleaned for a year and it will shuck and cycle shells with no problems at all. I read a gun writters report about several different 12 gauge autos that he tested. The test consisted of pouring a mixture of muddy sandy water down the barrel and into the actionof the guns involved. They werethen taken on a actualmorning duck hunt in very cold weather. In the afternoon the test continuedwith shooting clay pigeons. The writter reported the Browning Gold not only passed the test with ease, but that it in fact beat out all the other autos including the Super Black Eagle. I was very skepticaland thought the writer was full of it. But I also wanted a 10 gauge auto,so Ihad to choose between the browning and remington. To help memake a decision I tracked down this writters work number and gave him a call. We ended up talking for over a hour, I learnedthat the 10 gauge gold was no different than the 12.Then he flat out promised me that if I didn't like the gold he knew several people that would be more than willing to buy the gun from me. Well to make a long storie short I still have the gun and I love it. It flat out doesn't jam and being honest the only jam I have had was when I mixed up a 12 gauge 3.5" with my 10 gauge shells. That did jam the gun, but not for long. My gun is the older style (6 years old) and build like a tank. It can take a pounding and keep going. I alsohave the Nova pump and several other 12 gauge pumps and autos but none are as good as my Gold 10. I have usedthat gunfor both ducks and geese over decoysand have no clue how many shells I have fired out of it. But one thing I do know and that its just being broke in.[8D]I expect that gun to last me the rest of my life andthen some.
