Remington Thumbhole vs. Mossberg Thumbhole
 

I can't find a lot of info on the pros and cons of each (Remington 870 pump thumbhole and the Mossberg 835 ulti-mag thumbhole)...so I thought I would ask if anyone had used these or tried them out before and what they liked / dis-liked about each. I am not really interested in the automatic version...I want the pump. I plan on getting on of these for my bday, which is comming up in a little while....

Never seen a thumbhole shotty before, but I personally think Remington makes better guns than Mossberg.

i favor the remington over the moss. better craftsmanship and just fit better. although the new tactical turkey is kinda nice with the adjustable stock. but id take teh remington over the moss no doubt

The problem I have always heard on Mossberg's was that the receiver was aluminum and the bolt was steel, creating a faster wear than the Remington.
