What scope for turkey's

Since I've never used a scope on a Shotgun before ,what power and make of scope would you's recommend for a Turkey Shotgun?

RE: What scope for turkey's

I use a Leupold Vari-X II 1-4x20mm shotgun scope with heavy duplex crosshairs on my 870. I've used this combo since '94 and I'm gonna put it to use again here in about 6 days!:D Whatever you get, get the best you can afford cause as you probably know, those magnum turkey loads put out a ton of recoil and can be hard on optics.

I'd stay under 4x for a magnifier.

You may also consider a red dot since your shots won't be really far out there. Get one with an adjustable dot size and use the size that matches your pattern size at some midrange distance of your choice.
Just an idea.
