Tikka Riffles - Need info
I was wondering if any of you out there use Tikka riffles? I am thinking about getting the 300wsm Lite.
Any conversastion? |
RE: Tikka Riffles - Need info
Yes, I've got a Lite SS in 25-06. IMO, it's a great rifle. The trigger pull weight is easily adjustable and the action seems smooth as glass (compared to a Win mod 70 I have). I purchased it to try as I really love Sako's and these are like the cheaper version of a Sako. The Lite SS is quite light weight so I would assume that one in 300WSM would have some healthy recoil. My 25-06 is a pushover though. Good luck.

RE: Tikka Riffles - Need info
The only problem I have seen lately is that many I see in the store with wooden stocks are showing channel drift, like the wood is green. Fortunately, I have not seen that on the 308 that I got for Little Biscuit.

RE: Tikka Riffles - Need info
I bought one last month and it drifted a little the first two times out. While cleaning it, I noticed that I didn't tighten the scope mount right [:@]and it's all better now. I think it has the best action, accuracy and trigger for the money. I love it. It is very light however and will get your attention with the recoil.
