Using Foster style Slugs in a choked barrel
 
Can i use Foster style slugs threw a Full Fixed choke barrel ? I have a LaFever Nitro 12 gauge......I read a article here awhile ago in Shooting Times Magazine you could..

Yes you can but I wouldn't expect to get very good accuracy from them being shot out of a full choked barrel. A full choke really squishes the slug as it passes through the choke.

You should really use a cylinder (open) choke or improved cylinder choke.

I agree with bigbulls, and on top of that it will probably lead up really bad at the choke.

If it's all you have try it. Try several brands as well, some are not as big around as others.
