My BB gun.
LOL just kidding. The "biggest" gun I have ever had the chance to shoot was a 30-30 BrandonT |
RE: how much can you take?
I love to shoot my .300 Weatherby...1" groups all day if I have to but I can't afford the ammo for that! ...<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

RE: how much can you take?
Talking about accuracy I would have to say my .308 if you re wanting to hear about something larger than a .223 or 25-06. A 50 cal wasn't bad in the service if you want to talk some tall bucks. The bolt action Ruger 308 will punch them in at 200 yards witin an inch leaning against a tree. 9x50 scope. Or I have a tack driving .22 at 30 yards. Neihbor has the 7mm which does as well as my 308. Just forget the 45/70, think it tumbles like a 45 when it flies. I haven't had the pleasure of shooting the 300 WSM. They say it is the bomb.

RE: how much can you take?
I was at the range yesterday and shot 3 groups of 3 with my 7mm Rem. Mag. at 150 yards.
The worst group was my first and it was about 2 1/2 inches. |
RE: how much can you take?
What do you consider accurate. My 45/70 BPCR shooting 9in. groups at 500 yrds. or my .300 Weatherby shooting .268 at 100yrds.
