I think the Canadian Wholesale Sports shows the Sako Finnlight in .280. Take a look. Of course that doesn't mean that one would actually be available for some time but...

Duffy! - I see you're a 6.5 fan. I have a 6.5 X 55 Swede. THat's actually my go to deer gun but I wouldn't try it for Elk or Moose etc...

I love the .280 ! I just wish Savage offered the .280.

I would be nice for Savage to offer more callibers. They're pretty conservative in that respect. They don't make the very best rifles but they sure make the best value proposition.
