ruger mk 77 with full manlicher stock

What do you guys think about the ruger mk 77 with the full manlicher stocks? I just saw one the other day calibered in 270. I thaught the price was a bit steep but I dont know for sure. What do you guys think is a good price for this gun? It is 100% new in box. I really am trying to hold out on a full stock in a different caliber.

What calibers were offered in the manlicher full stocks? I would most like to get a full stocked in 257 roberts but these are calibers I dont see much of. I honestly dont see many full stocks around either, so finding a full stock in 257 roberts might require some more looking around.

RE: ruger mk 77 with full manlicher stock

I would just like to clarify if you are looking for an old tang safety model or a newerMk II model? I have an old tang safety RSI in 243 and love it. I have seen one in 270 and one in 250-3000 Savage in my travelsbut never 257 Roberts. These little guns are very hard to find and usually command a "premium" price. I bet that a RSI in 257 Roberts would be a SWEET little gun. Good luck with your search!
