The M-7 CDL in .260 or even 7-08 is certainly among the finest deer and antelope and even elk rifles on the market today. Accurate, light, powerful and damn good looking.

I have a older Model 7 in .308win 18.5" barrel last fallI put on a High Tech Specialties 17oz stock and bedded it gun weighs 6.7lbs with a 1.75 to 6x Leupold, recoil is not a factor its very moderate with 150gr load groups just under 3/4" I would sell any of my many guns, except this one never.
