Encore accuracy

I was wondering how accurate a customized TCEncorewould becompared to a custom bolt action. I was considering an "accuracy" barrel from EABCO in either 22-250 Ackley Imp. or 6mm BR. just wondering someone else's opinion.

RE: Encore accuracy

If the encore has an oversized hinge pin installed to perfectly match the barrel hole and the action hole, and either the hanger forarm or pillar bedded forarm, you won't see any difference. But bottom line is the encore's lockup is not as symmetric as a bolts three bolt lug. But us folks probably won't ever know the difference.

RE: Encore accuracy

I have a "few" Encore barrels and they are accurate. My 25-06 that I use for deer also takes woodchucks out to 500 yards...
