I'm new visiter here--First picture is my 12GA From Hell
slug gun, The most powerful Savage ever built,11,900 ft lbs.
And it still fires regular plastic shotgun shells
inour long chamber.Ed.
So whats the story on this gun? Will it handle more pressure than my 870? Is it custom built? Thanks forposting.

Thanks Jeff for welcome..it isn't as bad to fire as that
link shows, about like a 10 lb 458 Lott. Ours is 25 lbs.
UncleMatt--not posting to one-up anybody, just to get
more folks infected with the big bore virus.
Bigcountry-It has a heavy barrel- heavy stock- lengthened
loading port for our case. And that 3 lug bolt in the
Savage is stronger thanregular bolt actions, except those real
big ones built for 50cal.It is equivalent to a few smaller
50cal bolts. Here is picture of Savage bolt, showing lugs
next to Enfield bolt for comparison. But yet bolt works
smooth and easy, with that bolt carrier. Savage has a real
neat gun there for the dollars.Ed.

Jeff- that's ourintrepid AR site owner. And my gun
might be a little harder to shoot if it was as light
as that Trex in video. Here is picture of the 12GA FH
Rob from AR put together on a big falling block.
That's is a real nice African style gun. Yet fires
regular shotshells.Ed.

Ed,

That is a beautiful gun...certainly one of the most interesting 12ga guns I have ever seen...
How many 12ga FH's do you think are actually out there? Also what are the differences between the Trex's and the FH's (if there are any).

Jeff

RE: Dedicated Rifled Slug Guns...

Jeff there is 3 right now- about6 more planned- One
on an AR-50 bolt- 2 Encores- A NEF slugster
they built with heavy barrel-Some this double in
picture if its specs check out as strong enough.
A Trex is .585 caliber and case is 3 inches long,
ours is .729 bore and case 3.8 inches long.Ed

That 12 gauge FH looks fun...as long as someone else shoots it. My 100lb body would be thrown across the room with the gun...:(
