remington model 6 question???
 

I just seen an ad in the swap sheet this morning, andit said there was a remington model 6 takedown.....does anyone know if remington's model 6 was even offered in a takedown? This sounds a little fishy to me, sounds like the guy might be talkin about a winchester 06 or something like that.

what do you fellas think?

My 24th edition of the "Blue Book of Gun Values" lists a No. 6 Rolling Block Rifle in .22 S-L-LR or .32 Short or Long rimfire cal., 20" round barrel,bot's gun with small dimensions, takedown action, case hardened (early mfg.) or blue finish, also available in smooth bore, 497,000 mfg. 1901-33. Prices range from $600.00 down to $75.00
(Add 10% for smoothbore.)
Original case colors will bring a premium on this model.
