Nosler Accubond and Barnes Triple Shock bullets
I read in American Hunter magazine put out by NRA that Black Hills Gold produces good ammunition. Can anyone comment on the following BULLETS:
.243 95-grain Nosler partition (for use in .243 Win) .25 caliber 100-grain Barnes Triple Shock (for use in .25-06) .25 caliber 100-grain Nosler Ballistic Tip (for use in .25-06) .30 caliber 180-grain Barnes Triple Shock (for use in .30-06) .30 caliber 180-grain Nosler Accubond (for use in .30-06) The primary use for the .243 and .25-06 would be deer and antelope. The .25-06 might be used some other time for sheep or mountain goat -- (Ya! like I'm ever going to draw a non-resident permit for one of those species! Right!). The primary use for the .30-06 would be elk, moose, black bear. |
RE: Nosler Accubond and Barnes Triple Shock bullets
I have reloaded for both. But I have friends that didn't have a great wound from teh TSX. But this was deer and from 25-06. But I find the Accubond to be a great bullet for all occasions.
