SAVAGE 99 PROBLEMS?

DOES ANYONE IN HERE KNOW OF ANY COMMON PROBLEMS IN A SAVAGE 99?..i HAVE TRIED TO FIND SOMETHING ON THE WEB...AND ALL THAT I CAN FIND IS THAT PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY HAVE VERY FEW PROBLEMS WITH THEM, AND THAT THEY ARE ALSO DEPENDABLE.

ANYONE EVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIER 99'S OR EVER HEARD OF ANY?

The only problem with the savage 99s is they are addictive. Once you get one you have to have more.

The only problem I see, is that since I got one (well two actually) I rarely take any other guns out of my cabinet.

I notice that they are a BIG problem for anything I shoot at with one. Its dead!

APPARENTLY MODEL 99S MAKE YOU SHOUT!

Please lose the caps, if you don't mind.

Only real problems with them, other than being incredibly ugly,;) is that if you reload do not load hot. The bolt locks up in the rear and can get bent and bind up in the receiver if your loads are too hot.

Don't take apart the magazine assembly yourself with out directions of some kind cause you may not get it back together properly.

Other than that they are good guns.

The one thing I hate about them is that they aren't made anymore!!! That's a huge problem for us poor college folk who can't afford guns with any type of nostalgia or collectors fee added on. Correct me if I'm wrong...there aren't any rotary levers being made right now?

I had one, it must have been at least 75 years old, 303 caliber. i ended up giving it away to a collector, just felt it needed a better home.
