Youth Model Savage .243
 
Just wondering if anyone has tried the savage .243 synthetic youth model. Saw one at wal-mart for $350 with scope and rings. If i do buy it, i'm gonna take off the cheap scope and put on my 4.5x14 nikon. Looks like it would make a great gun to use while im calling coyotes.

I dont usually make a habit out of buying guns from walmart, i had a bad experience before with a wal mart ruger. Anyway, im on a limited budget since christmas drained me and this would make a great inexpensive coyote gun. Anycomments or experiencewould be appreciated.

That Savage should be a good shooter. You didn't mention the model. I have 3 savages now and one on order. One has the synthetic stock and the new one will. The ones I have are great shooters and I'm sure the new one will be too. I presume that this stock is the same as the 'regular' stocks only with a shorter LOP.

I have a 30-06 savage it isa great gun It is stainless with asynthetic stock. Is a great gun for hunting.
