Leupold then Burris. Ive been using the dual dovetails more and more. I think they just look better.

RE: Favorite Scope Rings
I like Burris signature rings.
I dislike the fact that they may get popular and lower the quantity of scopes for sale cheep because of ring marks[&:] |
RE: Favorite Scope Rings
I like the lines of the Burris/Leupold rings and bases. They look great and never had any problems with them. However I've been using the Weaver style bases and rings after reading an article on them saying that they are stronger. and, they are less expensive.

I'd have to say Conetrol with Talley coming in a close second.

Weaver style. I like the Millet Windage adjustable ones best followed by the Weaver Quad rings.

RE: Favorite Scope Rings
I loved the signature rings but they kept coming loose on my 300RUM. So no more of them. I have had dozens of pairs of leupolds but lately have hit some bad stuff. One batch was out of round, the other had a dovetail so loose you could turn it in the base with two fingers. Also hate the fact I have to lap the rings and then cold blue. Can be a 2 hour ordeal.
But recently have found some hotdog rings. They are machined talley one piece base/rings. I wouldn't use em on hard recoilers but I put some on a encore 204 and am impressed. I would still say Leupold are on top. I just can't afford those talleys. Leupold (talley if they were not so expensive) Optimas Talley alloy one piece millets |
