Default RE: Make your own Gun Cabinet

So we are almost done with the project, I can not wait to show you all. I have spent 110 dollars so far and I could not be happier with the entire process. The wood is nice and heavy, the cabinet will weigh almost 200 pounds. It is 7'1 tall and 40 inches across, 36 inches deep. Will hole 12 guns, 2 bows and has 4 square feet of storage space 2.5 feet tall. Everything I own for hunting except targets and stands will fit in to this cabinet. It is made of poplar on the out side and lined with red cedar. I am tacking up the white oak for the gun wall tonight and lining it with velvet or so sort of nice material that prevents sliding.
