RE: 10-22 Magnum
It was at Sodak LOL. I only live 50 miles from aberdeen so thats usually where I go to look. If you go to Watertown there are a few there but nothing too great, Boones, Dakota Outdoors, and on Hwy 81 south of Watertown about 11 miles there is Kones Korner. The last 2 guns I bought I got from Garys Gunshop in Sioux Falls.

RE: 10-22 Magnum
I am 100 miles North of Aberdeen. I get into to Gary's quite often as well. I am in Sioux Falls quite a bit. I always hit Sportsmans Warehouse to check on guns and knives. Ibought a Marlin 44 Mag at Sodak last week. I might stop there tomorow morning on my way to Wall. He has a BPS with a 26 inch barrel there that I really like. It has some wear on it but the price is right.

Ya old Scott at Sodak is pretty easy to deal with. I lived in Sioux Falls for 3 months last winter and I was shooting handgun at Garys 3 or 4 nites a week, and I also spent alotta money at the Warehouse. They always had good deals on stuff there, and they will negotiate pretty well if the right guy is working.
We'll hafta meet up at Sodak sometime and BS.

RE: 10-22 Magnum
There are a lot of posibilities with the Ruger for Sure.
Rammer. I was in Rapid city Saturday but didn't get to the stock show. I had to load up a load of stuff at my daughters place in Wall and head back to Jamestown so the wife could work today. Monday. I stopped at Dakota Mart in Pierre though. They had the exact BPS shot gun that I was looking for with the 24 inch field barrel. It was used but in mint condition with an extra Turkey choke and Fiber optic sight. They wanted 299.00 for it and I grabbed it quick. I had the same gun several years back and sold it for some dumb reason. I have tried several shotguns since but none ever feld as good as that one. This one is home for good.Sodak sold the one they had before I got back there.
Send me a PM sometime when you are heading into Aberdeen and if I am free I could run down also. I have to go to Sioux Falls tomorrow but at least on the way down it will be before they open at Sodak.

Man I was at Dakotamart Friday afternoon on our way thru, and I didn't see the BPS with the 24" barrel I've wanted one of those for a long while.
The used BPS at Sodak very well could have been one of mine. I have had 8 of them over the years, always wanted a 24" barrelled one to keep for good. If you run across another one let me know.
I was too busy at Dakotamart drooling over the Brunton binos. They had a set of the Epoc series with the doublers for $800. I wanted to swipe my credit card soo bad, but managed to talk myself out of it!
Ya I will let ya know when I run to aberdeen again, gotta go visit Flatland archery and Sodak. I need a decapping rod assembly for my RCBS 243 die. Mine is all bent up.

RE: 10-22 Magnum
James, I have the 10-22 mag and have had it for 3 hunting seasons. They need a little breaking-in, for the first 300-400 rounds you need to clean the chamber every 50 or so rounds, nothing elaborate just a brush and a twist or two. Also if you will retension the factory magazine , reliability will go way up. Bottom line------ good reliable gun and you will be pleased!!!
MINE:
3/4" @ 50 yards 2 " @ 100 yards with 5 moa red-dot sight, a good scope would shrink this.

RE: 10-22 Magnum
THanks Mag shooter. I sure liked the 22 Mag in the old Mossberg Bolt.
Rammer, the 24 inch BPS was in that rack to the right of the main counter. I will keep my eye out for another. I shot a lot of Turkek with my last one.
