Benelli M2 field vs. Super Black Eagle
 

Have never shot either but love my Nova so much that I am going to pick one of these two up for upland/trap shooting. I know of no one who has the SBE that has one bad thing to say about it, but have not heard much on the M2 Field.

I picked up the Super Sport this past year. Looked at them at the Shot Show last year and just had to have one. More of a 'clays' gun, I'd have to say, only because the only length barrels you can get are 28" & 30". Have used it for the past 8 months on the skeet fields and it's done well, just took some getting used to with the longer barrel. Very light recoil, very light in weight, and very reliable. I recommend Benelli to everyone.

I have an M2, bought it right when they first started to hit the shelves. I cleaned it the first day I brought it home, and since then haven't cleaned it and have shot lots of rounds thru it. It goes bang everytime, has never hung up, or failed to extract.
