Have you looked at a Stevens 200 in 300 Win mag. The rifle alone sells for about $ 260.............

I just purchased a stevens 200 in .270 on sale for $199. I sighted it in this weekend, and this is nowmy best shooting rifle.

Take a look at charles daly it has a mauser action in many diff. cal. price about $400.00 great gun for the price

Yeah, The Stevens gets my vote as well. Nobody makes a better rifle for the money! But, It wont win any beauty contests. I dont hunt at beauty contests (for elk that is!) EJ
