scope for 30-06

hey im lookin for a wide field scope for my dads remington model 700 30-06..the one he has on it right now he doesnt like cuz when he pulls his gun up he cant see that well through it..what im saying is he wants a wider range scope..do any of you guys have any good ideas on a good scope for this gun?

1.5 x 5Leupold will do the job for the rest of his life.... I've had very good service out of them.

Anothergood choisewith a bit moremagnification would be the 2x7 Leupold. It's been one of my all time favoritesfor many many years. Ithink it's one of the best all around scopes ever made.

You aren't giving us enough information.Is the field of view too small,is the scope not clear,is it dull?It may be too high magnification,it may be a poor quality scope,or it may simply be mounted incorrectly.
