I would avoid the tikka t3 in 338 win. I had one and the stock split after less than 100 rounds. THey have a very weak recoil lug system. Your much better off with a ruger or browning.

I've got a Browning A-Bolt chambered in the .338 Win. Very reliable and accurate rifle. It will consistantly shoot 1 MOA. I've only used mine to take a few whitetails with and settled on the 200 gr. Ballistic tips. Anyting heavier will just punch through these 100 - 150 lbs. deer where I live. Federal Premiumswith the 210 gr. Nosler Partitions gives you good range and velocity with good controlled expansion on larger game.
