Any info on the electronic hearing protection would be appreciated. Iagree with most of the others guys here that the noise seems to cause a bigger flinch than the recoil.

You can get a cheep set of electronichearing protection at Walmart and it works. I shoot a 300 Win Mag with a KDF brake and it's loud and will ring you ears. I decided to get the hearing protection for this gun but I use it for all hunting now. I wouldn't be without anymore.

Do you think a few shots while hunting from an oght six /would cause any hearing damage? I recently installed a muzzle break on my gun do to missing a freakin huge bull elk because I flinched. Now the gun has about as much recoil as a 22 long rifle. I love it, but I'm not going to hunt with ear muffs on! I guess I could invest in a game ear or something.
Yes, it will! And if you have a muzzle BRAKE on it, the damage is going to show up quicker!
