Get the savage. I had a T3 after about 100 rounds the magazine started to fall out of the bottom of the action, and they are not cheap to replace. I have a savage and I like it much better then I ever liked the tikka. Shure the savage is kindof "clickey" but it is made in america, and the action has been basicly the same since 1954 and is proven.
