Default What rifle to buy?

I need an accurate deer rifle, with an accurate caliber. Last year i bought the ruger m77 mkll in the 7mag and I hate it. I was thinking about the savage 110 package. any suggestions?

If your deer hunting, the Savage with accutrigger in 270 would be next to impossible to beat. If bigger game is in the picture, The 300 WSM or Win Mag in the same rifle should be just the ticket. The 30-06 would also work fine.

Savage makes an excellent rifle. Accurate, awesome trigger and now that they have made them look good to. I really like the new classic series with the accu-trigger. I agree .270 would be nice for a deer rifle as would a .308 win. Here's the Savage classic 14........... http://www.savagearms.com/14u.htm

What have you done to get your Ruger to shoot? Good luck.

Before you shell out the cash for a Savage, you owe it to yourself to check out the Tikka T-3 Lite. I own two Tikkas and the actions are super smooth. Also, you can hide five round groups under a dime at 100-yards with their sporter barrel. The trigger is adjustable too. Mine are 22-250 and 25-06. Both are incredible rifles and a bargain for the bucks.

i have another vote for the tikka t-3 Lite. It is very hard to find a smoother action, and they are tackdrivers. I know i really love mine.
