243 wssm Feed problems?

Anybody had this problem? I'm kinda hot about it. For whatever reason, it fails to push the next shell in about 50% of the time and therefore is useless. I've tried it under hunting conditions and also here at home going slow. I've even made sure when it was loaded, that the shells were as for forward in the mag as they could be?

WTF? I plan to call Wichester tomorrow. I aint very happy with a $400 gun.

short fat cases have feeding problems. In some instances it is the magazine rails need to be smoothed or trimmed a hair. (by a professional of course)

Basically the shoulder on the case is hitting the feed ramp and causing that is the major part of the problem, feed rails would be a minor part of it. Its a Model 70 thing ..Winchester never did the design right. If you want faultless feeding with these rounds you need to look at a push feed rifle.
