question about buying a rifle
 
a guy i work with needed so extra christmas money, so i bought his savage 110 7mm rem mag with a bushnell 6x18x50 scope, for $275.the rifle is in great shape and its not stolen,was this a fair price, thanks

I bought my Savage package in 2001 for $365 dollars (I paid $20 more cause mine was a lefty) Id say you got a good deal especially if there is not real signs of mishandling.

If it shoots like most 110 rifles I have ever shot .You got a heck of a deal.But if it kicks like most of the 110's.you need to invest in a good recoil pad.

You bet that was a good deal! Savages are good rifles, and cost a lot more than what you paid!

thanks guys, i bought it for my 12 year old. swampdog my son said man this thing kicks,guess i'll get a pad,he killed a 3pt with it today.
