Turkey barrel for 870?
 

Today I purchased a Remington 870 SPS. Cantilever barrel, gray laminated thumbhole stock. According to my buddy, with Hornady SST sabot slugs it should be a dead deer down from 0 - 150 yards.

ANYWAY...with the thumbhole stock and the way it handles, it seems like it would make a great turkey gun. The barrel that came with it is a fully rifled, cantilever. Just curious, does anyone know if I can get a Turkey barrel for this gun? You know, about 24", fiber optic sights, screw in super full choke tube?

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Try midway www.midwayusa.com they sell barrels made by hastings which are a quality barrel

Yes, the 870 is one of the most popular shotguns out there. They make a wide array of barrels for it, that are all interchangeable as far as I know. BTW - I have 2 870s and my bros each have 1.

Don't worry about the sights .
Put a red dot on it .

I have a smooth bore slug barrel that takes tubes .
I installed a turkey tube for the perfict barrel for me .
