short magnum hipe

well...i was thinking and i think that someone should come up with a .25/06 short mag, 22-250 short mag and a 243 short mag

they should chamber thes cartridges in the "shortest action" guns. I wonder if they would sell?

"shortest action" becuase short action would be to big, maybe something like a mini action would suit these cartridges

I believe the .22 and 6mm PPC fill that bill.

Well, You really couldn't make a .25-06 a short magnum or it wouldn't be a .25-06. It would be a .25 short magnum due to the case change. Same with the 22-250. But you could with the 243.

The 22-250 is pretty much a "short magnum" already.

it may be a short magnum already...but as all these trends go, you gotta push it to the extreme..1" long 3/4" wide....note the sarcasm

We could neck down a 45 Win Mag case to .22.

Let's see here, there are currently two itterations of the 300 short magnum and a 338 , and 270 WSM. A 7mm Remington short magnum and a 6.5 Danr short magnum. I've seen drawings for a 350 short magnum and for a 25 short magnum. Dave Van Horn has already developed a complete series of short magnums from 6mm thru 416. Now, what else are you asking about??
