.30/.30 ammo?
 

Hey everyone, i was wondering what everyone thinks is
the best cartridge for a .30/.30 lever action on deer for
shots up to 200yds MAX? I have seen on ballistic charts that
the "Winchester 150gr. Supreme Power-Point Plus" was very
favorable up to 200yds, but what is your opinion?

200yds is kinds pushing it.

do they group well in your gun?
i would rather go with a bullet that groups well than have one that get's out to 200yds and just wounds a animal.but go with whatever shoots well in your gun.also try the 170gr. win silvertips

I have had good results with Remingtons 150 grain core lokt past 200 yards. I have used this factory load for 14 years on deer and have yet to see a failure.

For deer, stick to the 150 grain. 200 yards is really not too far for the .30/30!

Keep yore powder dry!!

I like the Hornady Custom Ammo. It's only a little more than the Winchesters or Remigntons, and seems to be more accurate. Also the Hornady cartridges are hand inspected.
