RE: Bipod (brand) shooting sticks

I use a Stoney Point Bipod, and just purchased a "Mossback Shooting Tripod" I will have to get use to before I use it in the field. Good luck.

There are other methods to hold steady when shooting i think. These are only back in the light of the hunting public because of programs on TV!They were popular by the rich whom had others carry them for them when hunting in the african bush back in the 1940-1960,s. If you want to carry something else out in the field and aren,t sure of your abillity to shoot without it,and have the "TIME" to set up ( which is questionable to say the least many times) go for it then. This is IMHO. vangunsmith

I talked to the guy at Bipod, and he said that theuniversal pod basically mounts on your belt, and the band on thetop end wraps around the forestock, so that the weight of the gun is supported by your hip, he said that you can pan around by swiveling your hips.
