Question
This question might have been asked here 100 times, but i'm kind of new, so I'm not sure. I have 2 guns that i want to sell.A shotgun and a .308. If I do not have an FFL, can i send these out of state? Or does the other person just have to have one? Or does anyone at all... I'm just kind of mixed up i guess. Any replies would help.

RE: Question
You have to ship it to a FFL license holder. Some states may require that you ship via a FFL dealer to a FFL dealer. I would check to make sure. Here in Virginia I can mail straight from UPS to a FFL. None needed on my part.

RE: Question
You need to ship to an FFL with his signed License in the package. Otherwise you risk a bunch of things that you don't want from the government. Now, if you sell the firearm within the state you live in and the guy shows up at your house....take the cash and hand him the gun. I have had the best luck sending firearms through the post office......The feds don't jibber with the feds! That's my take ....good luck, Rick.
