.308 110 grain ultramax
 
anybody use the 110 grain bullets .308.ultramax 3100/2348.ft.lbs. just order some and wondering what use .deer? varmits?

That is a varmit bullet all the way. The sectional density of a 110 grain 30 caliber bullet is very low. At high velocity it would not hold up very well if it struck the shoulder or even hit square on a rib of a big game animal.

The 110 grain bullets was designed just for O J Simpson who is still out looking for the real killers. They're not for big game as James B says.

I use the 110 grain hp from ultramax for coyote hunting . i have a tikka t3 lite 308 . and i shoot half inch groups at 200 yards with them
if you wer gonna deer hunt use the 168 grain bullet from ultramax . they are great for long range .
