handgun scopes?

i'm wanting to put a scope on my .44mag encore and i was wonder which is a better more durable scope, the Thompson Center 2.5-7X28mm or the bushnell trophy 2-6X32mm?

I don't have either of those .... but I've got a Swift on my Superblackhawk .44mag and it's been great.

I just put a Burris 2-7x on my Striker and so far so good.

I'd steer clear of the bushnell myself. I know they probably make some of the best scopes in the world, but the also sell some real crud too. Take the question mark out of the equation and go with something else IMHO.

If thompson put's there name on it I'm sure it would be a good quality scope. I asked a while back who made them for thompson but forgot the answer. Pull a search on thompson scopes and you'll see it.

I have a Leupold 2x on my 44 and it's held up for many years under heavy recoil. I know that's not one of your choices, but it's what I have.
