Get yourself a Leupold VX II in 3-9x40 for $300 and you'll be very pleased!

I agree with coolbrze0. Leopold VX-ii is a good cheap scope for 299. But you can also get the Leupold VX-1 for less. And the Nikon Monarch is about 299 with the buckmaster being 250. Although nothing is wrong with the bushnell 3200 and full field. Warraqnty service on all of hese manufacturers is great.
You could also afford a waever, too

What about the Simmons Aetec? I have a few friends that really like them. I the fact the variable is 2.8x10x44mm. Whats your thoughts on this scope. Plus basspro has what they call the simmons master series aetec, is there anything diffrent from the regular aetec?
