Beretta A300 semi-auto

Anyone have any experience with this shotgun? I am considering picking one up in 12 gauge w/28-inch barrel, cause the price seems right. What did these guns sell for when new? Also can a slug barrel be fitted to it and will slugs function properly with the "load adjusting system" it has?

Any input would be appreciated.

If it's anything like the A-303 it's a great gun. My A-303 in 20 ga was light and pointed very smoothly. Shot flawlessly and was a dream to own and shoot.

I have the 12 ga. A-301 and it has been an excellent shotgun for hunting. I haven’t any problems with it and have hunted for a number of years.
