mystery shotgun (20ga SxS bargain)
i justsaw a 20ga SxS for $100. i don't know much about this brand of gun though. The rightbarrell enraving reads "Davidson Fire Arms, Greensboro NC." the left barrell reads :Model 83 Made in Spain Nitro Proof" The gun looks clean, it's got fixed chokes and it looks like some sabot slugs have been fired down the smoothbore. does anyone know anthing about this brand of gun? any response would be greatly appreciated.

Spanish SXS are infamous for seperating barrels, especially if fired with Max loads like duck and goose. The barrels usually come apart at the forearm area. There craftsmanship isn,t bad,but the problem was the quality of their steel! If you shoot low base shells, and not any real hot stuff you should be ok. vangunsmith
