got a quick question for ya guys. i got my grandfathers old revolation shotgun handed down to me and the blue on the barrel is all faded off and the stock is loose not sure if they do this or what the cost is but could the local gunsmith recolor it and fix the orginal stock and if so how much would the cost be. just wondering if anyone knows any feedback be great.

Although it may be tempting to "restore" grandpa's shotgun, it is probably best to give it a light coating of oil to prevent further rust and hang it above the fireplace - with a little pacard that says "Grandpa's Shotgun".

prices vary immensely....but rebluing...$175
stock repair.......................................$75

these numbers are extremely vague
take it to a smith and get it quoted.
