Hornady v-max is what mine likes. I have not tried any of the newer ones though. I tried the CCI's and Remingtons. Now there are a few other brands out as well as the 20 grn offerings.

The v-max is the most devestating on small game. If you plan on eating it you better shoot it in the head.

I bought one from Sportsmansguide.com and I got a 6.5x20x50 and I think I paid $60 and it works great on my .17HMR!!

Hornady 17gr Vmax and federal 17gr vmax seem to shoot teh best, well its all Ive tried and there about the same. as for shooting little critters vamx well blow them apart so if you are shooting se eat it dontuse them. The 17gr tnt or 20Gr gamepoints do much less damage as they dont fragment like the vmax in such small game. I have pics of what teh vamx does to gophers if you would like to see, but there too gorry to post on here
