Rossi 243

I am considering a Rossi .243 for my son. Would like to hear some comments good or bad from any of you with experience with the Rossi.
Thanks Chub

Get H&R/New England Fire Arms instead. All the Rossi's I've seen are cheap imitations of the handy rifle which is much better rifle for the money. Maybe 200-250 for a bull barrel with scope mount in my area.

That's my opinion. If you want to get a cheap starter .22 or .410 for a kid I guess they would be ok, but for a center fire I would at least get the H&R.

I have 10 Handi's and one 223 Bull Barrel Rossi. Nothing wrong with the Rossi, it's very accurate. Handi's are great......also, I have 2 of the new Stevens 200's bolt actions, cost me $262 out the door. Is the Savage rifle without the Accu trigger.
