Ruger 10-22 Trigger Issue-Help
Hey guys,
Is it possible for a layman to adjust the trigger on a Ruger 10-22 semi-auto? If so how? If not how much do gunsmiths charge for this? If I have it done how low should I take it.
Right now it sucks.
BTW - It is brand new and has about 10 rounds through it.
Thanks
Tom

Don't mess wiht it. I stoned mine and ended up with almost a machine gun until it jammes. I ended up with the power custom trigger /sear that is awesome to say the least. Easy for anyone to install. Just note the way you took it apart. Bad part is you have to do some minor adjustments to accomidate the safety. Now, I ruined a file on this titanium. Tough stuff. Ended up using a diamond sharpener and ruined that. And all I wanted to take off was .002" or so. But overall its worth it.

Hang out over on Rimfire Central. You see what nuts we 10/22 guys can be. Buy the $150 gun, toss everything but the action, add a bbl for $200-$400,trigger from $80 - $300, a stock for $130-$300 (some as high as $700) and you still need the optics. Easily get's to some serious money fairly quickly.
