RE: 7mm Rem Mag in 24'' barrel??? Does it make much differance?
I think you also realize that the XLC is a coated bullet which reduces friction in the barrell. Does not common sense tell you that it should be higher than all the other manuals with non coated bullets. I makes perfect sense to me anyway. It is a commecially available reload and is a valid basis for comparison to the 7mm that beats the 7mm hands down. If you eliminate the XLC loads from the comparison the 7mm has a minimal edge but then you are not camparing the best commercially available loads for each cartridge.

By commercially available I mean a load published in a manual by a reputable manufacturer and not some internet wildcatter with no regard to pressure limits. I notice that when the numbers dont add up to your preconceived notions you accuse the manufacturer of misrepresenting their product. Your last point regarding "commercially available" is petty and does in no way compromise my original statement. By the way what was the BC on that great 175 Grain Norma Load the was supposed to be better than any 06 load. I cannot help but notice you never did get back to me with that!!!!!!!
