We need a good double barrel pistol like the old days. Once you get too much cartridge, we are looking at a cylinder about the size of a wheel on the Biscuit Chuckwagon.

One of the gun magazines tested it ( and 50 cal rifles) a few years back.
Not my idea of a CCW pistol or for hunting ,but a fun idea.

Legally in the US no handgun can be larger then .50. When the Desert Eagle first came out they had to revamp because it could not pass the BATF muster since it's orignal caliber was something like .51.
There is a .50 at 800 fps called the .50GI comes in a 1911 package
