I have a Jap M38 Arisaka sporterized and chambered for the wild cat cartridge 6.5x284 has competion peep site, comes with dies and 80 new 284 brass and 50 used brass and 50 Nosler 120gr. Ballistic Tip bullets. This rifle is super accurate I can place 5 rounds in a 5 inch circle at 300 yards with the peep site. Add a scope and who knows how much better it will be. I played with this for 2 years and now its time to move on. Would make a great 1500 yard coyote killer! I guarantee there is nothing wrong with this rifle. what is the 6.5x284 close to? I mean is it like 243 , 308 , 7mm or what.

It is a reloading only cartridge for the most part. There are a few companies that do load for it but none of the major manufacturers do.

It's a 284 Winchester necked down to accept 6.5mm (.264") bullets.
