Mosseberg 500 pump shotgun
 

My new Mosseberg modle 500 pump shotgun has a problem. The saftey switch does not work in any position. I installed the pistol grip and slug barrel, does that effect the saftey? Can I fix it?

sounds like you put the trigger mechanism back in the reciever with the safety in the safe position, normally the trigger mechanism wont go in unless you forced it which may have resulted in breaking the safety.
