For $300 you can get a black Benelli Nova and for $350 you can get it in camo. The Nova is a 3.5" gun and is probably the most weather resistant gun your going to find. It has more features than the 870 and I like it better. Mine has taken a pounding with 3.5" Hevi shot and impact for a few seasons now and I have had no poblems. I also know about 7 other people who have them and they all love them and have had no problems.

took me a min. to think of somethin u cant hunt with it, but i got one....i mean u could use it but that would be stupid.......PRARIE DOGS

but yeah 870 is the best all around gun made IMO unless ur talkin about the TC guns...
